02. Mr. Dinosaur Is Lost [恐龙先生弄丢了]

Narrator（Peppa Pig介绍）：

I’m Peppa pig.我是佩奇。

This is my little brother, George.这是我的弟弟乔治。

This is Mummy Pig. 这是我的妈妈。

And this is Daddy Pig. 这是我的爸爸。

Narrator： George's favorite toy is Mr. Dinosaur. 乔治最喜欢的玩具是恐龙先生。

Peppa Pig： Dine-saw.恐龙 [dine-saw是乔治叫恐龙的专称！]

Narrator： George loves Mr. Dinosaur。乔治最喜欢恐龙先生了

Sometimes，George likes to scare Peppa with Mr. Dinosaur. 有时候乔治喜欢用恐龙先生吓唬佩奇。

[乔治拿恐龙吓唬佩奇，并追逐奔跑]

Peppa Pig： Eeek, Too scary.太吓人了。

Narrator: At suppertime, Mr. Dinosaur sits next to George.吃晚饭的时候，恐龙先生坐在乔治身旁。

[ George打了个嗝]

Mummy Pig： I beg your pardon? 这是谁发出的声音?

Was that you George, or was it Mr. Dinosaur? 是你吗乔治？还是恐龙先生呢?

George: Dine-saw. 恐龙

Narrator: At bath time, George shares his bath with Mr. Dinosaur. 洗澡的时候，乔治和恐龙先生一起洗。

Mummy Pig： Goodnight, Peppa. 晚安佩奇

Peppa Pig： Goodnight, Mummy. 晚安妈妈

Mummy Pig： Goodnight, George. 晚安乔治

Narrator: When George goes to bed，Mr. Dinosaur is tucked up with him。乔治睡觉的时候，恐龙先生和他睡在一起。

George's favorite game is throwing Mr. Dinosaur up in the air…and Catching him when he falls back down. 乔治最喜欢的游戏就是把恐龙先生扔到空中，在他掉下来的时候把他接住。

[George开心地把恐龙不停地抛向空中]

Peppa and Daddy Pig are playing draughts[draefts]. 佩奇正在和猪爸爸下棋呢。

Peppa Pig： I win, Daddy. 我赢了，爸爸

Daddy pig： Oh, Well done. Peppa. 哦，下得好啊佩奇。

[George哭着跑进来]

Daddy pig： George？

Mummy Pig： George, what’s the matter? 乔治，出什么事情了？

George: Dine-saw.恐龙

Daddy pig： George, have you lost Mr. Dinosaur? 乔治，你把恐龙先生弄丢了？

Narrator: George has lost Mr. Dinosaur. 乔治把恐龙先生弄丢了。

Mummy Pig： Don't worry, George. 不用担心乔治。

We'll find Mr. Dinosaur. 我们会找到恐龙先生的。

Daddy pig： It’s a job for a detective. 现在该轮到侦探出场了。

Peppa Pig： Daddy, what is a detective? 可是爸爸，什么是侦探？

Daddy pig： A detective is a very important person who is good at finding things. 我所说的侦探呢他们都是非常厉害的人，能帮别人找到掉了的东西。

Peppa Pig： Me. Me. I’m good at finding things. 我 我 我就非常擅长找东西。

Daddy pig： Alright. 好的。

Peppa is the detective. 那佩奇来做侦探吧。

Peppa Pig： George, I am the detective. 乔治，我现在是侦探了。

I will help you find Mr. Dinosaur. 我会帮你找到恐龙先生的。

Mummy Pig： Maybe the detective should ask George some simple questions. 或许侦探小姐，你应该问乔治一些简单的问题。

Peppa Pig： George？Where’s Mr. Dinosaur? 乔治？恐龙先生它在哪里呢？

[George哭了起来]

Narrator: George does not know where Mr. Dinosaur is. 乔治不知道恐龙先生在哪里。

Peppa Pig： The detective could try and guess where Mr. Dinosaur might be. 侦探小姐也许该试着猜猜恐龙先生流落到哪了。

Peppa Pig： I know. I know where he is. 我知道，我知道他在哪了。

George always has Mr. Dinosaur with him in the bath. 乔治总是在洗澡的时候让恐龙先生陪着。

So Mr. Dinosaur is in the bath. 所以恐龙先生是在浴缸里。

Narrator: Mr. Dinosaur is not in the bath. 恐龙先生不在浴缸里。

Peppa Pig： Oh, I know. 哦，我知道了。

I know where Mr. Dinosaur is. 我知道恐龙先生在哪里了。

George always has Mr. Dinosaur in his bed at night. 乔治总是在晚上睡觉的时候让恐龙先生陪着。

So that’s where he is. 所以他一定就在床上。

Narrator: Mr. Dinosaur is not in the George‘s bed. 恐龙先生不在乔治的床上。

Peppa Pig： Oh,

Mummy Pig： Maybe we should try the garden. 或许我们应该去花园里找一找。

Peppa Pig： Yes, the garden. 是的，去花园。

I was going to say that. 我正准备要说那个呢。

[大家一起去花园]

Peppa Pig： Where’s Mr. Dinosaur? 恐龙先生在什么地方？

Narrator： Mr. Dinosaur is very hard to find. 看来恐龙先生真的很难找到啊

Peppa Pig： Oh, Mr. Dinosaur isn’t anywhere. 哪里都没有看到恐龙先生。

Daddy pig： George. You do love to throw Mr. Dinosaur in the air… 你最喜欢把恐龙先生扔到空中了。

I wonder if this time you threw Mr. Dinosaur just a bit too high. 我想是不是你这一次把恐龙先生扔的太高了一点呢。

Peppa Pig： There he is. There he is. 在这儿呢，在这儿呢

I saw him first. 是我先看见他的

Daddy pig： Well done, Peppa. 干得好，佩奇

You really are a very good detective. 你真是一位出色的侦探小姐。

[爸爸把恐龙先生从树上拿下来给乔治，乔治高兴地抱着恐龙先生]

George: Dine-saw.恐龙

Narrator: George is so happy to have Mr. Dinosaur back again. 找回了恐龙先生乔治开心的不得了。

[乔治又把恐龙先生扔到了树上，哭了起来]

Narrator: Maybe it isn’t a good idea to play with dinosaurs near trees.看来在树的附近和恐龙先生玩真不是一个好主意。

[恐龙爸爸又帮乔治把恐龙先生拿下来，乔治一家笑了]

George: Dine-saw.恐龙

Tips:

1. favorite

乔治最喜欢的玩具是恐龙先生。Favorite是最喜欢的东西。跟like这个词的区别在于，like是喜欢的，favorite是最喜欢的。所以favorite等同于best liked。Favorite toy最喜欢的玩具，favorite game最喜欢的游戏。还可以怎么说呢？Favorite color最喜欢的颜色，favorite book最喜欢的书，favorite food最喜欢吃的东西。

2. scare

乔治喜欢用恐龙先生吓唬佩奇，George likes to scare Peppa with Mr. Dinosaur. 吓唬用的是scare。佩奇装作被吓到的样子，说“好吓人啊（Too Scary）”。

你喜欢吓唬别人吗？Do you like to scare others with some very scary things? 有没有什么东西让你觉得害怕呢？比如我就觉得蜘蛛很吓人, Spiders are too scary.

3. Eeek / Wheeeeeeee

Eeek是被吓到或者被惊到的时候说的话。佩奇装作被恐龙先生吓到了，所以说Eeek。

Wheeeeeee是表示高兴得裂嘴笑的意思，e和笑起来的嘴巴是不是长得很像呢？e越多，说明笑得越开心。跟咱们的23333很像。

4. At suppertime/ bath time

吃晚饭的时候，at suppertime。

洗澡的时候，at bath time。

还有哪些时候可以用相似的说法呢？吃早饭的时候，at breakfast time；睡觉的时候，at bedtime。

5. I beg your pardon

乔治在吃饭的时候打了一个好大好大的嗝，妈妈说I beg your pardon（你刚刚干了什么？）。I beg your pardon在这里是表示妈妈非常惊讶，觉得乔治很粗鲁。

6. Tuck

Tuck是塞进去，卷进去的意思。Tuck up是塞紧被子睡觉的意思。

Mr. Dinosaur is tucked up with him恐龙先生被紧紧塞在被子里和他一起睡觉。

你睡觉的时候妈妈是不是也要把你紧紧的塞到被子里面，免得感冒啊。那你下次被紧紧的塞在被子里面和妈妈一起睡觉就可以说I am tucked up with Mummy.

7. Throw

Throw是丢和抛的意思。Throw Mr. Dinosaur up in the air, 将恐龙先生往空中抛。你平时喜欢把什么东西往空中抛呢？Throw ball up in the air，将球往空中抛；Daddy likes to throw you up in the air，爸爸喜欢把你抛向空中。

8. Catch/ fall back down

Catch是接住的意思，fall back down是掉下来的意思。

Catch him when he falls back down是指恐龙先生掉下来的时候把他接住。

乔治喜欢把恐龙先生抛向空中，再等他掉下来接住。George likes to throw Mr. Dinosaur up in the air and catching him when he falls back down.

9. Play draught

Draughts是国际跳棋，一种很好玩的跳棋游戏。Play draughts就是玩国际跳棋。玩什么游戏，都可以用play这个词来搭配，比如play game，玩游戏；play board game, 玩桌游；play mobile game，玩手机游戏；Play pretend game，玩过家家游戏；Play chess，玩象棋游戏。

10. Well done！

佩奇玩跳棋游戏赢了爸爸，爸爸说well done, Peppa，是佩奇你真棒的意思。

后来佩奇找到了乔治的恐龙先生，爸爸也说了一句，Well done, Peppa。佩奇，你真棒。

下次你在班上拿了小红花，被老师表扬了，妈妈对你说well done，你能听懂吗？

11. Lost/ Find

这集的名字就叫做Mr. Dinosaur is Lost，恐龙先生不见了。Lost就是东西不见了的意思。

爸爸问乔治，George, have you lost Mr. Dinosaur? 乔治，恐龙先生是不是不见了？乔治的确把恐龙先生搞丢了，George has lost Mr. Dinosaur。

小朋友，你有把东西搞丢的时候吗？Have you ever lost something? 比如搞丢了玩具，lost toy? 搞丢了钥匙， lost key?

跟Lost相反的词是find（找到）。乔治lost恐龙先生，妈妈说一定会找到他，We’ll find Mr. Dinosaur。

但是恐龙先生可不是那么好找到的啊，佩奇找了老半天都没有把他找出来，It’s very hard to find。你有过失而复得的经历吗？
